Why I built Cited
After studying communications and digital strategy at Sup de Pub (Groupe INSEEC), I spent years helping brands grow their online presence through SEO, content, and paid media.
In 2024, everything changed. ChatGPT crossed 900M weekly users, Perplexity reached a $20B valuation, and Google launched AI Overviews. Organic clicks dropped 34%. The brands I worked with started asking: "Why aren't we showing up in AI answers?"
That question became my obsession. I moved to Dubai, built proprietary tools to audit AI visibility across 5 providers, and launched Cited — the first agency 100% focused on Generative Engine Optimization.
